Manchester City have accepted a bid from Atletico Madrid for World Cup and Copa America winner Julian Alvarez.
City have communicated with Atletico that their bid of roughly £90 million pounds including add-ons is enough to let their young star leave the club.
Alvarez joined the Premier League champions from River Plate for roughly £15 million less than two years ago, giving City a massive profit to reinvest in their squad.
Diego Simeone’s side have begun negotiations with the players agents to discuss personal terms, with a five-year deal and 100% image rights included in the deal.
