Ryan Moon believes that he can follow in the footsteps of Bafana Bafana duo Keagan Dolly and Kamohelo Mokotjo by plying his trade in Europe, writes DEAN WORKMAN.
The Kaizer Chiefs striker made the admission during a media open day as Chiefs prepare to take on AmaZulu in the Absa Premiership this weekend.
Moon was named in the Bafana Bafana squad on Tuesday making it the second time that he has been called up to the national side.
When asked if he aspires to the level of his Bafana Bafana teammates such as Dolly and Mokotjo, Moon said ‘I aspire to their level and I aspire to be even more than their levels. We always have to aspire to be the best that we can be.’
‘Obviously next step is to get overseas but first I need to cement a place at Chiefs, work hard here and achieve as much as I can at Chiefs before I go,’ added Moon.
The striker will be looking to get back to scoring ways against Ama-Zulu this weekend before linking up with the national side on Sunday.
