Highlands Park goalkeeper Tapuwa Kapini gave Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Wayne Sandilands some kind words of advice following his error in the two teams’ stalemate.
A horrendous error from the Sandilands gifted the Lions of the North the lead when the former Mamelodi Sundowns shot-stopper failed to control a routine backpass, which landed in the back of the net.

Zimbabwean shot-stopper and opposite number Kapini cited Sandilands in his post-match comments and enouraged him to keep his head up, despite his ill-fated error.

‘I like to say these things do happen, especially on goalkeepers,’ he told his club’s official twitter account.
‘I would say keep your head high and keep on fighting baba. You used to be South Africa’s number one goalkeeper and knows the game way better than most people,’ he concluded.

The Lions of North’ next league assignment sees them face Black Leopards at the Makhulong Stadium on Wednesday with kickoff set for 7:30pm, while Pirates will look to register their first victory of the new campaign when they clash with Chippa United at the same time.
