Orlando Pirates striker Augustine Mulenga believes the Buccaneers stand a good chance of winning the 2018-19 Absa Premiership title.
The Buccaneers will play host to Highlands Park at the Orlando Stadium in their opening Absa Premiership fixture, scheduled for 4 August.
Mulenga strongly believes the Buccaneers can win the PSL title when the new season kicks off after finishing in second place behind champions Mamelodi Sundowns.
‘Last season, we ended second on the log. We were close to winning the league,’ Mulenga told KickOff.com.
‘This season we have to start where we left off last season and go on. I think we can be champions.’

The Zambian international believes Pirates have a ‘good strike force’ after bolstering their attack by acquiring the services of Vincent Pule, Kudakwashe Mahachi and Meshack Maphangule.
‘Football sometimes speaks in two languages,’ says Mulenga.
‘Sometimes you can have good players but if you are not playing according to their potential, there is nothing you can achieve.
‘I can say we have a good strike force. We just have to encourage each other, support each other and work hard.’
