England need to be cautious the threat Wout Weghorst possesses as he could be the forward that decides their Euro 2024 semi-final showdown against the Netherlands.

In their quarter-final match against Turkiye, the Netherlands’ Wout Weghorst came on as a substitute and troubled the Turkish defense. His impact altered the game, forcing Turkiye to retreat to the edge of their own box due to the Dutch counter-attacking strategy.

In the second half, Turkiye really experienced the influence of the 6ft 6in Dutch striker, as the Netherlands doubled their crosses into the Turkish box aiming for Weghorst. Despite his limited scoring so far in the Euros, Weghorst could still threaten England’s path to the final if Ronald Koeman decides to adjust his attacking strategy.
