Manchester City midfielder Rodri is reportedly out for the season after suffering a knee ligament injury in Sunday’s clash at the Etihad.
Rodri has been one of Pep Guardiola’s most influential players since his arrival from Atletico Madrid, playing a pivotal role in their success.
Rodri has torn the cruciate ligament in his knee and will be sidelined for at least 6-8 months, ruling him out until April 2025 the earliest, putting huge pressure on the defending Premier League champions.
The Spaniard’s absence will be huge for the title race, with Manchester City’s record considerably worse without their star midfielder.
Rodri is out for the season after tearing his ACL against Arsenal, per multiple reports.
The Ballon d’Or contender has only played 66 Premier League minutes this season.
