Former Manchester United assistant coach Benni McCarthy has confirmed the club’s interest in Borussia Dortmund winger Karim Adeyemi, following his standout performance with a first-half hat trick in Dortmund’s 7-1 Champions League thrashing of Celtic.
Borussia Dortmund taught Celtic a lesson as their unbeaten start to the season came to a halt on Tuesday night. Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi ran riot with an incredible hat-trick, propelling the home side to a 5-1 half-time lead.

Following Dortmund’s home win against Celtic, former Manchester United first-team coach Benni McCarthy confirmed that the Premier League club had the 23 year old winger on their transfer radar with the possibility of bringing Adeyemi to Old Trafford in the January transfer window.
