Jack Grealish opened the scoring against Finland in matchday four of UEFA Nations League in Helsinki.
Trent Alexander-Arnold stunning free-kick curler into the top corner was England’s highlight despite their average performance. Grealish later revealed that Trent’s goal was sparked by motivation beforehand.

In a post-match interview Grealish told iTV, “I said if you score this, I’ll give you £500′ and then he [Trent] just slapped it in the top bins. So I owe him now.”
Grealish returned to the national team camp after being left-out of the UEFA Euro 2024 squad by ex-England head coach Gareth Southgate. The Manchester City midfielder starred in England’s 2-0 Nations League win against the Republic of Ireland last month, and has since enjoyed playing under interim coach lee Carsley.
