Bafana Bafana have officially qualified for the 2025 African Cup of Nations after Congo Brazzaville’s 3-2 loss at the hands of South Sudan.

Hugo Broos also becomes the first Bafana Bafana coach to qualify for back-to-back competitions with the Belgian being in the dugout since 2021.

South Africa will look to build on the success of their last AFCON campaign that saw Bafana earn a third place finish after being knocked out the competition by the eventual winners Ivory Coast.
