CAF has extended the list of nominees for the Player of the Year award, with Ronwen Williams of Mamelodi Sundowns securing a spot in the top five. He will be competing alongside notable players such as Hakimi, Lookman, Guirassy, and others.

CAF’s intention was to announce three shortlisted nominees for Player of the Year award, however retained five nominees for the award.
Bafana Bafana and Mamelodi Sundowns captain and goalkeeper, Ronwen Williams will battle for top spot up against Guinean Serhou Guirassy, Moroccan Achraf Hakimi, Nigerian sensation Ademola Lookman and Ivorian Simon Adingra.
The CAF Player of the Year award ceremony is set to take place and presented in Marrakesh, Morocco on the 16th of December.
