Serie A side AC Milan has engaged in discussions with Chelsea regarding a potential move for João Félix, but the Blues have turned down Milan’s initial offer.
AC Milan were hoping for a loan move for the Portuguese international until the end of the season, as proposed by Milan’s directors Giorgio Furlani and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Chelsea rejected the proposal stating that a move for Felix will only be feasible only for a direct sale.
Milan have the option of including a loan offer with an obligation to sign Felix on a permanent in their proposal before deadline day.
