Manchester United are reportedly exploring a deal with Brazilian side Flamengo to offload highly paid Caserimo off their wage bill in a loan deal until the end of the season.
The transfer window may have closed for business across the big leagues but remains open across other league around the world, which enables Manchester United to do business outside of Europe.
The Red Devils have already let go, on loan highly paid players such Marcus Rashford and Antony, while also bringing in young talent like Patrick Dorgu and Ayden Heaven.
Casemiro has played less 60 minutes in the last five games for United under Ruben Amorim, and has become a strain on the club’s finances, as the Brazlian CDM is among Manchester United’s highly paid players in the league with hefty weekly wages.
🚨 Flamengo are exploring a deal to sign Casemiro.
Manchester United have agreed to loan him out and cover most of his salary, with the Brazilian transfer window closing on February 28th.
