Cape Town City captain Robyn Johannes believes his side have enough experience in the squad to deal with the pressure of playing in the MTN8 final, writes Dylan Appolis.
The Citizens are set to renew their rivalry with Matsatsantsa when they battle for glory at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Johannes insists City have to focus on their own game and play to their strengths if they are to overcome SuperSport on the day.
“We have to be cool and calm before the storm – it’s going to be a big game for sure, and hopefully the stadium will be packed,” Johannes said.
“But we’ve got players who have been to occasions like these and I’m sure they’ll handle the pressure and make sure we focus on ourselves and play to our strengths and complete the job.”
The MTN8 final between Cape Town City and SuperSport United is scheduled to kick off at 19:00 on Saturday.
