Kaizer Chiefs midfielder George Maluleka says he is working hard to improve his game in his bid to produce more consistent performances for Amakhosi.
The 28-year-old has already scored two goals and assisted a further two from eight appearances in all competitions so far this campaign.
Maluleka admits that his performance this season declined because of a lack of consistency, but the midfielder is looking to rebuild his form to help Amakhosi gain success in this campaign.
“I think one of the things that led to my game dropping was consistency. I have just been trying to rebuild on that lately, and so far so good,” Maluleka told KickOff.com.
“And with the help of my teammates and the technical staff as well, I managed to do that. Consistency is important because you have games coming thick and fast, so you need to make sure that you are performing at your best.”
Kaizer Chiefs will now turn their attention to the Absa Premiership when they take on Polokwane City at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday, with kick-off set for 19:30.
