The Premier Soccer League has confirmed the dates and venues for the Telkom Knockout quarter-finals, with Kaizer Chiefs set to face Chippa United at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The last-eight phase of the inaugural Telkom Knockout competition will continue this weekend following the shock first-round exits of Mamelodi Sundowns, SuperSport United and defending champions, Cape Town City.
Platinum Stars and Bloemfontein Celtic will kick off the weekend’s when they go head-to-head at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
A rejuvenated Bidvest Wits outfit will look to continue their good run of form against an in-form Baroka team, who booted Benni McCarthy’s side out of the competition.
Orlando Pirates booked their spot in the quarter-finals with a 1-0 victory against Lamontville Golden Arrows and the Buccaneers will come up against giant-killers, Polokwane City.
The final match of the weekend sees Chippa being pitted against Steve Komphela’s Chiefs outfit on Sunday afternoon.
