Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane heaped praise on Tiyani Mabunda following his performance during their 4-1 victory over Bloemfontein Celtic on Saturday.
The Brazilians maintain their position at the top of the Absa Premiership standings with 28 points and have now extended their unbeaten run in the league to seven matches.
Mosimane was full of praise for Mabunda hailing his performances against Celtic as ‘unbelievable’.
“He [Mabunda] is unbelievable. He cuts so many balls in the midfield. He steals so many balls and he plays them forward,” Mosimane told SuperSport TV after the game.
“He stole one or two and played them forward today. His passing is unbelievable. I can see in the goal that he scored, he made another steal in the midfield.
“He has a way of doing this, people think that he is alone and then he steals it.”
Mamelodi Sundowns will be hoping to extend their unbeaten run when they welcome Cape Town City to Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Tuesday, with kick-off set for 19:30.
