Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Joseph Molangoane says he is happy to see Steve Komphela’s plans come together as they continue in their bid for silverware this season.
The 29-year-old claimed his third Man of the Match award this season after helping Amakhosi claim a 2-1 victory over Polokwane City at the FNB Stadium on Saturday.
The Glamour Boys currently sit fourth in the PSL standings with 26 points and has now gone four matches without a defeat, having claimed three wins and a draw.
“We have targets to meet. There’s nothing much that I has changed in my approach. I have accepted a new role in the team and seizing the moment,” Molangoane told his club’s official website.
“I am glad to be able to reproduce in the game what we practised during the week. It all starts at training. We plan for the game and play according to the coach’s instructions. We just love it when the plan comes together.”
Molangoane will be hoping his side will keep their winning momentum going when they take on Baroka in their next Absa Premiership encounter.
“I am glad to contribute to the bigger picture in the team,” he concluded.
“It is work in progress for me and the team. We are looking forward to the next game with the intention to improve and keep up the momentum.”
The match at the Peter Mokaba Stadium kicks off at 15:30.
