Phakamani Mahlambi agent Glyn Bikin insists that his client is determined to fight for a regular starting berth in the Al Ahly squad.
The 20-year-old, who joined the Egyptian side from Bidvest Wits in September 2017, was recently linked with a move away from Ahly in search of much-needed game time.
However, Binkin says the Bafana Bafana forward has no intention of parting ways with the club and is looking forward to the challenge of playing for the Egyptian giants.
“Phakamani played and scored on Friday,” Binkin told KickOff.com.
“He is aware of the challenges of playing for a big team like Al Ahly. He is ready to fight on.
“He has a four-year contract with the club and has no intention of leaving.”
Mahlambi made seven appearances in the Egyptian Premier League while scoring once and created a further two assist so far this season.
