Kaizer Chiefs has been handed a boost after the club confirmed George Maluleka, Erick Mathoho and Gustavo Paez has returned to full training.
The Glamour Boys closed the gap at the top of the table to just four points following their 1-0 victory of the Citizens over the weekend courtesy of a goal from Ryan Moon.
Chiefs’ physiotherapist Dave Milner revealed that Maluleka and Paez missed the last two games against Golden Arrows and Cape Town City respectively.
“Mido is back in full training,” Milner told Chiefs official website.
“He has responded well to the treatment and we are optimistic that he will go through training without a glitch.”
“Gustavo Paez is also back in full training.”
Meanwhile, Dumisani Zuma began light training after he was sidelined with a groin injury, while Mathoho has since recovered from his ankle injury and resumed full training with the first team.
Emmanuel Letlotlo will undergo a strength test to give the club an indication of the state of his recovery after sustaining a knee injury while Amakhosi will continue to monitor Kabelo Mahlasela and Teenage Hadebe’s progress.
