Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela says his side will go ‘all out’ to claim all three points against Free State Stars at Goble Park on Wednesday.
The Glamour Boys currently occupy fifth place in the Absa Premiership standings with 36 points while Ea Lla Koto are placed fourth with 37 points from 24 games.
With six games to go, Komphela insists that his side are on a ‘mist-win-all’ plan if they want to stand a chance of winning the league and book their place in next year’s Caf Champions League.
“We are going all out for a win,” Komphela told his club’s official website.
“We are on a must-win-all plan for the remaining six league fixtures. It is the final lap and all the teams are making a final push. Some want to win the league, to play in the African Champions League, there’s the Top eight and others want to avoid relegation. So it is game on.
“It is six matches to go – 18 points to play for. The message to the team is clear. Be professional about it until the ‘fat lady’ sings. We want to play good football and get a result tonight.”
The match at Goble Park kicks off at 19:30.
