Former Cape Town City defender Tshepo Gumede has confirmed that he has been in contact with five different PSL clubs.
The former Orlando Pirates defender recently parted ways with the Citizens after falling out of favour at the club.
He played was forced to play second fiddle to Taariq Filies and Robyn Johannes, having only made 15 appearance during the 2017-18 campaign.
Gumede says he enjoyed playing for the Mother City-based outfit, but feels he needs a chance of clubs.
“I enjoyed playing there for two seasons and I feel we set a good base for the club going forward, since they’ve only been around for two seasons. I feel it is a time in my career where I need change,” he tells KickOff.com.
“I am currently talking to some teams in the PSL and once everything has been finalised then I can say where I am going.
“I can say that five teams in the league have spoken to my agent.”
