Veteran defender Tsepo Masilela is set to leave Absa Premiership outfit Kaizer Chiefs, according to the player’s agent Mike Makaab.
The former Bafana Bafana international was sidelined for the majority of the 2017-18 campaign, largely owing to injuries, making only six appearances in all competitions.
Masilela’s agent, however confirmed that the 33-year-old will leave the Soweto Giants after his contract came to an end on May 30 2018.
“It looks like he will not be at Chiefs next season,” Makaab told IOL.
Masilela had the local football fraternity talking when he posted a cryptic tweet suggesting his new destination.
