Mamelodi Sundowns will be without Andile Jali and Anthony Laffor for their 2018-19 Absa Premiership opening encounter against Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday.
The former Orlando Pirates midfielder will have to continue his wait for his Masandawana PSL debut as he is currently nursing a hamstring injury.

The same goes for Laffor, who proved instrumental in his team’s Shell Helix Cup success, terrorising the very same Chiefs outfit.
Pitso Mosimane’s side took to their official website to publicise details of the duo’s injuries, in addition to revealing that they could be without Sibusiso Vilakazi and Oupa Manyisa as well.

‘Absa Premiership defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns will be without Anthony Laffor and Andile Jali when taking on Kaizer Chiefs in the much-anticipated league opener at Loftus Stadium on Saturday afternoon,’ the statement read.
‘Both players are sidelined with hamstring injuries, with Laffor having resumed light training.
‘Sibusiso Vilakazi and Oupa Manyisa are doubtful for the match and will undergo late fitness tests. Vilakazi has a minor hamstring strain, while Manyisa suffered a contused back in the Caf Champion’s League match against AS Togo,’ the statement concluded.

The two sides do duty at Loftus Versfeld on 4 August with the clash set to kick off at 3pm.
