Orlando Pirates will be looking to secure their second victory of the season when they face a high-flying Bidvest Wits outfit, but it won’t be an easy task according to midfielder Xola Mlambo.
Milutin Sredojevic’s side will be looking to bounce back from their MTN8 elimination at the hands of SuperSport United by registering their second victory in the 2018-19 PSL campaign.
They, do, however come up against a Bidvest Wits side, who enjoy a 100% winning record thus far after 3-0 and 3-1 victories against Free State Stars and Kaizer Chiefs respectively.
It is for those reasons that former Wits midfielder Mlmabo believes that the clash against Gavin Hunt’s men will be tough.
‘To be honest it is tough playing any team in the league at the moment. Wits have coach Gavin Hunt’s experience,’ he told The Star.
‘Yes, they had a tough previous season, but when you have someone who has won the championship a record four-times then you know they are always going to look for ways to improve.
‘We can see that they are scoring and that puts them on the front foot.
‘We will now play a Wits team that knows some of our players like Ben (Motshwari) and Vincent (Pule). They will know their strengths and weakness, but they will not know how they have improved since they arrived at Pirates,’ he concluded.
The two sides do duty at the Orlando Stadium tonight with kickoff set for 7:30pm.
