Bafana Bafana coach Stuart Baxter named a 22-man squad for the upcoming Afcon qualifiers that includes some of South Africa’s key European exports such as Percy Tau, Bongani Zungu and Keagan Dolly, writes DEAN WORKMAN.
The newly selected squad will assemble on Sunday, 2 September, with training on Monday where all the international based players will link up with the rest of the squad as they prepare to do battle in the second round of the Group E African Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Bafana currently sit in a promising position in the group with three points after their historic 2-0 win over West African giants Nigeria in Uyo last June.
Bafana will now face Group E leaders Libya, who beat Seychelles 5-1 in their opening tie, in what will be the first game between the two countries.
Speaking at the squad announcement Baxter admitted that due to Bafana’s troubles against so-called minnows in the past he knows that the side cannot underestimate Libya, who are like a ‘club side’.
