Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Siphelele Ntshangase has challenged himself to do more to help Amakhosi end their three-year trophy drought.
‘Mr Champagne’, as he is affectionately known, has already picked up two assists in seven matches in all competitions for Amakhosi so far this season.
Ntshangase says he is not happy with his contribution thus far and would like to improve his game by producing more for the team.
‘I have confidence. The more you play, the more confident you become,’ Ntshangase told reporters.
‘I’m not really happy with my contribution yet, I only have two assists in about six games. If you said four assists in five games, I would be happier.’
The 25-year-old admits his job is made easier by Leonardo Castro and Khama Billiat, who always manage to find the positions for the final pass.
‘Each and every time I have the ball, either Castro or Khama is available, which makes my job easy,’ he added.
