Kaizer Chiefs coach Giovanni Solinas admits that he is a Free State Stars supporter, despite being the opposing coach when Amakhosi travel to Bethlehem on Tuesday, writes DYLAN APPOLIS.
The Glamour Boys managed to secure their first win in the Absa Premiership this season after thumping Cape Town City 4-1 at Cape Town Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Italian coach, who’s first coaching job in South Africa came at Free State Stars back in 2015, will come up against his former club for the first time when Amakhosi travel to Goble Park on Tuesday.
On his return to Goble Park, Solinas admits that Amakhosi’s next league fixture will be a ‘special game’ for him personally while he also wished Ea Lla Koto all the best for the campaign.
‘It is a special game for me, me I spent a great time in Bethlehem, I want to thank the Mokoena family, the chairman, because they gave me the opportunity to work in South Africa, for me it is a special game, yes it is [emotional],’ Solinas said.

‘Me, I am a Free State Stars fan, when Free State Stars play against Chiefs this is the life, this is football. Me, I have to take the responsibility, I play and try to win the game but I respect Free State Stars. I support them and I wish them all the best for the league, for the best, I wish Ea Lla Koto the best success but Tuesday is a battle, it is a football game, everyone [pushes] for our side.’
The match at Goble Park kicks off at 7:30pm.
