Cape Town City captain Lebogang Manyama’s agent Alfred Phiri admits that the player’s future is yet be discussed amid speculation of a move to Mamelodi Sundowns.
Masandawana are known to be admirers of the Bafana Bafana international, with their reported interest first being publicised by coach Pitso Mosimane at the monthly PSL awards ceremony in March.
The rumours linking the two parties intensified when Sundowns tweeted Manyama, congratulating him for his 2016-17 exploits, in addition to saying ‘See you soon’, which reignited the reports.

Manyama’s representative refuted that contact has been made by Sundowns however, suggesting that Manyama and the Citizens are due to negotiate his future in the coming weeks.
“Well, I’m not even aware of the Sundowns tweet, I’m hearing about it for the first time from you,” he told KickOff.
“Yes, I was with John [Comitis] yesterday, but he didn’t say anything to me about Sundowns and the player. We just talked business, that’s all.”
The former Moroka Swallows man refused to rule out a move to Chloorkop.
“I cannot speak for another person [Comitis], because it might happen that they [Cape Town City and Mamelodi Sundowns] are negotiating, I don’t know. I can’t confirm or deny anything,” he concluded.
