Orlando Pirates assistant coach Rhulani Mokwena has explained the reason behind his trip to the UK after taking a leave of absence from the Buccaneers during the international break.
Mokwena has been in the spotlight recently most notably after Pirates clash against Mamelodi Sundowns last weekend.
The former Sundowns assistant coach has recently been spotted visiting Premier League side Liverpool during his trip to England.
However, Mokwena was allegedly taking time off from the Sea Robbers to learn from coaches at the Merseyside outfit, but Pirates administrative officer Floyd Mbele says he had no knowledge of his alleged trip to the Reds.

Mokwena admits that club chairman Irvin Khoza was notified before hand about his short trip to the UK.
‘I had spoken to the chairman about my trip, but it was just a short visit and I will be leaving tonight and heading back to South Africa,’ Mokwena told KickOff.com.
The Buccaneers will have time to rest and prepare for the second installment of the Soweto derby during the international break after playing to a goalless draw against Mamelodi Sundowns in their previous league encounter.
Orlando Pirates will be hoping to do the double over rivals Kaizer Chiefs when the two sides square off in the Telkom Knockout semi-final at the Moses Mabhida Stadium next Saturday.
