Banyana Banyana have been drawn in a relatively tough Group B for their maiden Fifa Women’s World Cup in France next year.
The South African Women’s national team will face the likes of powerhouse Germany, Spain and China in their respective group.
Desiree Ellis’ side qualified for the global tournament after finishing as runners-up in the African Women’s Cup of Nations to eventual champions Nigeria
Banyana along with Nigeria and Cameroon are the only nations that will be representing Africa at the global present showpiece in France.
The Fifa Women’s World Cup is scheduled to get underway from 7 June and will concluded with the final on 7 July.
