Kaizer Chiefs forward Khama Billiat bemoans his sides defeat to Zesco United, but is confident Amakhosi can redeem themselves in the return leg at the FNB Stadium on Saturday.
The Zimbabwean international scored a crucial away goal during Amakhosi’s 3-1 defeat to Zesco in their Caf Confederation Cup play-off round first leg in Ndola.
Lazarous Kambole put Zesco ahead midway through the first half, while Jesse Were doubled the hosts lead before Billiat reduced the deficit before the half time break.
However, Were netted an early goal in the second half while Billiat had a goal ruled offside as Zesco take a two goal advantage into the return leg.

‘We didn’t come here to lose,’ Billiat told the media
‘Of course, it’s a great feeling to score, but it would have been an even better feeling if we would have won or we would have gotten a draw.’
Billiat admits that is not happy with the result, but is confident that ‘we will do better on Saturday’, when Chiefs welcome Zesco to the FNB Stadium for the play-off second leg.
We will welcome them at FNB Stadium this Saturday. Kickoff is at 20h00.

When asked about his chances of scoring in the return leg, the former Mamelodi Sundowns star said: ‘I would like to. But it’s not so important if I score, it’s more important that we will go through as that’s what we all want.’
The match at the FNB Stadium kicks off at 8pm.
