Orlando Pirates coach Milutin Sredojevic is confident his side can turn their form around in the Absa Premiership with only 11 matches remaining until the end of the season.
The Buccaneers have recently dropped down to third place in the Absa Premiership standings following their 1-1 draw with rivals Kaizer Chiefs at the FNB Stadium on 9 February.
Pirates are currently on a eight-game unbeaten run in the league, having managed to claim three wins and five draws, while their last defeat came in August last year when they suffered a 1-0 defeat to Bidvest Wits.
Sredojevic believes his side will show their quality and character as they looked to improve their game and chances of winning the league title at the end of the second.
‘With 11 matches to go and 33 points still to play for, we will look at each match as it comes and in every single match, we want to give our best, like any other team,’ Sredojevic said.
‘It will not be easy but knowing the players we have and the character they’ve shown, we have an element of confidence with us that it will be much better than it was [in recent matches].’
Orlando Pirates will now take on SuperSport United in their Absa Premiership clash at the Mbombela Stadium on Wednesday with kick off set for 7:30pm.
