Rashford completes sensational Man United comeback

Manchester United benefited from a controversial VAR decision as Marcus Rashford tucked home from the penalty spot to secure a 3-1 win against Paris Saint-Germain and send the English club through to the last eight of the Champions League.

PSG had cruised to a comfortable 2-0 victory in the first leg at Old Trafford and faced an injury-hit United side who were also without the suspended Paul Pogba.

The French team started the second half with real intention and despite dominating possession they were struggling to break down a determined United side.

Then just as time looked to be up for United, they were gifted a goal through VAR after the referee reviewed a Presnel Kimpembe handball.

The decision may have been a contentious one but Rashford stepped up and smashed home with power to give the Red Devils the goal which drew them level on aggregate but put them through on away goals.

The referee then added a chunk of added time, but United managed to hold on for what was a historic victory.
