Watch former Chelsea and Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho tear up in a video interview while discussing how much he misses football.

The 56-year-old manager has been out of management since last December and has opened up about his time away from the managerial dugout.

Speaking to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, Mourinho fought hard to hold back the tears as he spoke candidly about the void in his life since his sacking at Manchester United.

‘The first moment I went into professional football I felt a click,’ he said.

‘Since then it’s been serious stuff. It’s been serious stuff until now. Non-stop.

‘Now that it’s stopped, instead of enjoying it, I can’t really enjoy it, I miss it.’
