AmaZulu midfielder Siyethemba Sithebe could be on the verge of competing a move to Kaizer Chiefs, with reports suggesting that the transfer will go through as soon as the clubs agree a fee.
The tough-tackling midfielder has been linked with a move to Chiefs for some time with his contract at AmaZulu up at the end of the season in June.
Ushutu were keen to hold onto their player but with a move now appearing imminent the club is reportedly looking to cash in while they still can and no Sithebe is expected to be unveiled by Amakhosi in the coming days after reaching a total agreement on a lucrative contract, according to Kickoff.com.
The site quotes a source lcose to the deal who revealed that, “The only thing left is for Chiefs to finalise an agreement with AmaZulu.”
“Sithebe has even already chosen his jersey number that he will be wearing at his new club,” the source added.
Chiefs will be hoping to hit the ground running when the league resumes in February and the signing of Sithebe will certainly aid in a part of the field where Chiefs have been struggling.
