Mamelodi Sundowns will face off against lower league opposition again in the Nedbank Cup after they were drawn against Summerfield Dynamos for the quarter-finals of the competition.
The draw took place on Monday evening and has Downs have been pitted against another ABC Motsepe side following last weeks 6-0 win over Mathaithai.
Downs undoubtedly look like the favourites to claims this season’s edition of the tournament with a number of big sides already sent packing in previous rounds.
In the round-of-16 defending champions Marumo Gallants overcame Orlando Pirates on penalties while the tournament also bid farewell to 2019 champions TS Galaxy and Swallows FC after losses to Baroka FC and Royal AM respectively.
The Premier Soccer League will confirm the dates and venues in due course.
