With the DStv Premiership campaign reaching its conclusion. SASoccerMag takes a look at how the top goal scoring charts are shaping up ahead of the next round of fixtures.
Mamelodi Sundowns in form striker Shalulile is on course to walk away with the top scorer award having already broke the 20 goal mark after scoring his 22nd goal against Sekhukhune United on Tuesday.
In second place on the list is Royal AM’s Victor Letsoalo, who was tipped to challenege Shalulile for the crown but after a few inconsistent performances in fron of goal the striker is now eight goals behind the Sundowns man on 14 goals.
Bienvenu Eva Nga is in third place on the scoring charts with 10 goals to his name as he has been Chippa United shinning light in what has been a poor season for the Chilli Boys.
Making up the final three spots on the list is Kaizer Chiefs’ Keagan Dolly, Royal AM’s Mxolisi Macuphu and Mduduzi Mdantsane,who are all on level peggings with eigth goals each.
Notable meantion: There are currently six players that narrowly missed out on the list by one goal in the form of Khama Billiat, Ashley Du Preez, Thamsanqa Gabuza, Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo and Chibuike Ohizu, who have seven goals to their names.
