Flash back to when former Cape Town City coach Benni McCarthy swore on live TV in his post-match interview while criticising the refereeing during their 1-0 defeat by AmaZulu in February 2019.

The 41-year-old coach was left a frustrated man, and was caught swearing during his post-match interview after the match officials failed to protect his player following a dangerous challenge on Craig Martin.

A missed penalty from Kermit Erasmus in the first half, and a free kick by Tapelo Nyongo in the second half helped Usuthu secure a narrow 1-0 victory over the Citizens.

The defeat had City dropping down to fourth place in the Absa Premiership standings with 30 points after 19 games, while AmaZulu moved further away from the drop zone and into 11th place with 23 points after 20 matches.
