Karim Benzema has been one of the best strikers in world football for over a decade since his arrival at the Santiago Bernabeu in July of 2009.

Benzema long went under the radar in Madrid, understandably coming second to one of the greatest players of all time Cristiano Ronaldo.

Last season, the Real Madrid number 9 finally got the credit he deserves after a successful campaign for Los Blancos, cementing his status as a Galactico scoring 44 goals and providing 15 assists in 46 appearances in all competitions, lifting the UEFA Champions League, La Liga, Spanish Super Cup and the Ballon d’Or.
