Chelsea striker Christopher Nkunku’s nightmare debut Premier League campaign has had yet another injury setback. The £50m striker signed from RB Leipzig has not had a chance to show his quality, suffering multiple long-term injuries since his arrival.
Sky Sports have confirmed that Nkunku picked up an injury in the Blues Carabao Cup final loss to Liverpool on Sunday. This injury will leave him on the sidelines for what is believed to be at least a month.

In the few appearances the French forward has made he looks to be a star player in the making, but unfortunately has not been able to build a run of form. With the Blues struggling in 11th place in the Premier League and the 2024 European Championships on the horizon, Nkunku faces a race against time to make an impact for both club and country this season.
