Over 1500 Cityzens attend fan event of Treble Trophy Tour

Manchester City fans showed up at the Croquet Lawn at V&A Waterfront to meet club legend Shaun Wright-Phillips and get a picture taken with the Premier League, FA Cup, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.

Fans at the event were also able to interact with club mascot, Moonchester, and Manchester City coaches also delivered coaching sessions for young fans. Cape Town, South Africa, 20th March 2024: Over 1500 Cityzens visited the Croquet Lawn at V&A Waterfront to meet club legend Shaun Wright-Phillips and get a glimpse of the major trophies from the club’s historic treble-winning season during a special fan event that concluded the South Africa leg, and the final stop, of the global ‘Treble Trophy Tour’, presented by Official Club Partner, OKX.

The Premier League, FA Cup, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup were all on display during the fan event at the Croquet Lawn at V&A Waterfront as fans of all ages and nationalities from across South Africa celebrated the club’s success, getting their pictures taken with the silverware, interacting with content creators ‘The Manchester Derby’, as well as meeting and getting autographs from club legend Shaun Wright-Phillips.

The four-day visit also included the opportunity for fans to interact with Shaun Wright-Phillips at the Studio88 store, and Shaun and the 5 trophies also went on a Big 5 Safari.
