Ross Barkley permanently returns to Aston Villa next season following a stellar loan spell at the club during the 2020/21 season while he was at Chelsea FC.

The midfielder suffered relegation from the 2023/24 Premier League season with Luton Town and is now poised for a return to Villa Park and Champions League football under Unai Emery next season.

Barkley played in Ligue 1 with Nice in the summer of last year, scoring four goals with two assists in 24 appearances for the French side before making a return to Luton where he registered 37 appearances, five goals with six assists for the Hatters across all competitions.
