Nodada’s importance to the City midfield has not waned this season, as the midfielder has already picked up two Man of the Match awards just five games into the season.
Speaking to FourFourTwo SA on his goals for the season, Nodada admitted to eyeing a place in the next Bafana Bafana squad.
‘[My goals are to at] least maintain [last season’s form], but the utmost [importance] is to perfect all the basics I did last year. I want to help the team more offensively and get a nod for Bafana.’
With Stuart Baxter set to announce his latest Bafana Bafana squad on 28 August, many have been calling for the addition of the diminutive midfielder, who admitted to SportsClub that a call-up is something he has thought about a lot.

‘Yeah, I’m thinking about a call-up a lot.
‘I’m representing my family, friends and Cape Town at the moment. I’m never one to shy away from responsibility and I really can’t wait for the day I have the nation’s hopes on my shoulders.
‘You know, to be playing among the best in the country is a dream,’ concluded Nodada.
