Liverpool clinched a spot in the last four of the tournament following a comprehensive 5-1 aggregate victory over Premier league table-toppers Manchester City.

In what was a week of unbelievable comebacks in Champions League football, AS Roma did the unthinkable as they reduced a first-leg three-goal deficit to run out 4-3 victors on aggregate against the more-fancied Barcelona.

Real Madrid, were, arguably fortunate to clinch their spot in the semi’s after Cristiano Ronaldo’s last-gasp penalty sent them through following a Roma-esque comeback from Juventus, who also reduced a three-goal deficit before surrendering the tie.
Bayern Munich played to a 0-0 draw against Sevilla, but advanced to the last four with a 2-1 aggregate score.
