Mamelodi Sundowns star Percy Tau is reportedly ready to force through a move to Brighton & Hove Albion after growing disillusioned with his club’s reluctance to let him leave.
A report in the Sunday Times revealed that Downs have received and rejected three different offers from the Premier League club. Brighton initially offered Sundowns R27-million for Tau’s services and have since made improved offers, with the latest one sitting at R34-million.

Tau’s agent, Mmatsatsi Sefalafala, has accused the Chloorkop club of negotiating in bad faith and going back on their word after they had promised Tau he would be allowed to leave the club if he got an offer from one of the top five leagues, of which the Premier League is certainly one.

The 2017-18 Absa Premiership Footballer of the Year not only turned down a club trip to the World Cup in Russia but is also ready to stay away from pre-season training, which starts on Monday, in an attempt to force through a move.
