Bukayo Saka shone as England’s star player in the Euro 2024 quarter-finals, scoring an equalizer in the 80th minute, shortly after Switzerland’s Embolo had put them ahead. This led to a penalty shoot-out, where Jordan Pickford’s crucial performance secured England’s spot in the Euro 2024 semi-finals.

Everton’s Jordan Pickford made a fantastic save on Switzerland’s first penalty, stopping Manchester City defender Manuel Akanji and preventing the Swiss from scoring their first goal in the shootout.
Meanwhile, all five of England’s penalty takers, Jude Bellingham, Cole Palmer, Ivan Toney, Bukayo Saka, and Trent-Alexander Arnold all hit the target to send the English marching to the Euro semis in Gareth Southgate’s 100th match as England manager.
Ivan Toney showed unreal levels of confidence as he scored a no-look penalty in the #EURO2024 quarter-final between England and Switzerland 🔥
