Kaizer Chiefs have announced the signing of 26-year-old defensive midfielder James Kotei on a free transfer.
Koeti becomes the second Chiefs signing of the window after the club confirmed earlier in the month that Lazarous Kambole was joining Glamour Boys on a long-term deal following his move from ZESCO United in Zambia.
The Ghanaian midfielder shocked many when he turned down a new contract with his former club Simba SC in Zambia after impressing many with his performances last season.
The holding midfielder has instead decided to join Amakhosi on a three-year deal and is set to link up with the rest of the squad as they start pre-season.

Amakhosi are looking to rebuild in an attempt to bring back some respectability after a horrendous 2018/19 season where they finished outside the top 8, while also failing to end their four-year trophy drought.
Chiefs have responded by releasing a host of players including Pule Ekstein, Bongolethu Jayiya, Virgil Vries, Ryan Moon, Khotso Malope, Gustavo Paez, Emmanuel Leltlotlo and goalkeeper Brylon Petersen, with more departures still expected.
With a mass exodus having ensued in the off season expect more incomings at Naturena as Ernst Middendorp and his technical team look to stamp their mark on the squad.
