Kaizer Chiefs have sealed a deal with Bidvest Wits for the early arrival of Reeve Fosler on deadline day after the defender originally signed a pre-contract.
Chiefs are set to announced the deal along with that of new goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi from Chippa United via their twitter account on Thursday evening.
The 21-year-old, who was entering the final six-months of his contract with the Clever Boys, initially signed a pre-contract with the Glamour Boys but the club was always interested in trying to bring him in the current window. While the player was also keen to get started as soon as possible due to his limited playing time this season.
After turning down a new deal at Wits last year, the former South African youth international fell out of favour with manager Gavin Hunt and has not made a single appearance this season despite playing an integral part of the club’s league winning side in 2016/17.
The Wits youth product will now fight with the likes of Ramahlwe Mphahlele as well as Kgotso Moleko for the right back role at Naturena.
