The South African will remain in Denmark following his move to HB Koge after putting pen to paper on a one-and-a-half year contract ahead of the 2022-23 season.

Former Kaizer Chiefs defender spent the past two seasons at Superligaen outfit Viborg FF and made 16 appearances across all competitions before parting ways with the club after his contract wasn’t renewed.
Gordinho is now expected to join HB Koge, where he will be wearing the No 5 jersey as they continue their preparations for the upcoming 2022-23 season.
“From the first time I heard from the club, I became interested in the project here and in working with Daniel and the rest of the coaching staff at HB Køge. There is a clear strategy, and I am convinced that I can adapt and fit in,” Gordinho told his new club’s official website.
“I have gotten used to Danish football already, so I hope I can contribute on the field quickly.
“I want to help the team and I look forward to working with and growing under the club’s coaching staff who have a good understanding of the game and know what they want. That is why it was also easy for me to see a good future here.”
Over the course of his career, Gordinho has scored 10 goals and assisted a further one in 140 appearances in all competitions, playing for the likes of Kaizer Chiefs, Bloemfontein Celtic, Bidvest Wits and most recently Viborg FF.
