Sibusiso Vilakazi says ‘these are the exciting stages and special times’ as Mamelodi Sundowns look to clinch the treble.
Masandawna moved four points clear at the summit of the PSL table, following a 2-1 victory against Baroka.
The former Bidvest Wits star received the man-of-the-match accolade and spoke of the importance of garnering results in the final stretch of the title race.
‘The most important thing is making a contribution to the team, and so far it has been great,’ he said after the victory against Bakgaga.
‘Coming into the game we found it difficult after we conceded the goal at the corner, and we had to regroup.

‘Overall it was a tough game for us, we grinded out the win with the difficult times in the game stages.’
The win takes the Brazilians four points clear at the top of the league table and Vilakazi is looking forward to what the future holds for the club.
‘These are the exciting stages and special times,’ added the attacking Sundowns player.
‘The boys need to be collected to maintain the top spot. You have the team, the coach that is able to give you the confidence going into the game, the tactics.
‘With the team that we have, we keep on grinding out the wins.’
